Artist-in-residence 4/2016

Het Paviljoen …aan het Water is weer omgebouwd tot verblijf voor kunstenaars, die de komende drie maanden werken aan de kade. Onze twee nieuwe gasten zijn: Josephine Baan en Robert Carter.
 
We’re proud to have two new inspiring artist-in-residence: Josephine Baan and Robert Carter welcome!

Josephine Baan (b. 1987, UK) holds a BA in Media and Culture Theory from the University of Amsterdam, received her BFA from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, and her MFA from Goldsmiths, London. She is a recipient of the Young Talent Working Grant from the Mondrian Fund. Recent projects and exhibitions include: Nothing 2 C Here, Alkovi Galleria, Helsinki; It’s a Dirty Job, Arc Residency Romainmôtier and Foound, Geneva; Miley Farage Presents… Matt’s Gallery, London; Promenád, Művelődési Szint, Budapest; At the same place by coincidence… Studio Borgerstraat, Rotterdam; The Gallery Project, Long Museum, Shanghai; De Kamer, Galerie RAM, Rotterdam. Robert Carter is an artist originating from Blackburn, Lancashire. He has had work on show in this year’s Liverpool Biennal as part of The Green Room exhibition with 10 other artists.
